Anthology Of Alcoholic Beverages 2009-2016, CD and tape available!

“Anthology Of Alcoholic Beverages 2009-2016” is the 7″ collection of Insomnia Isterica’s tracks up to the split with Grossel.

The CD version has been pressed by Shark Attack Records in Colombia with a very special packaging, while the tape version has been released by Grindfather Productions.

Many thanks to James and Jacek for helping us out with this!!

We’ve put a lot of work into this collection: 3 of the old split 7″s got remixed and everything has been remastered by Mirko. Giulio has taken care of the artwork and the layout (the CD’s booklet has 20 pages!), while Attila wrote a short biography and went through all the lyrics and translated everything from Italian to English (available on the CD only but available online soon, translations online only). Every single detail has been crosschecked by the three of us. We’ve never spent so much time and energy on a single release, so we hope you’ll enjoy it and that you won’t spot any typo or mistake hahahaha.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us out in any possible way during this period, every band, DIY label, gig organizer, alcoholic warrior and person!

Mulo Muto, “Decomposing Cacophonies”, Digipack CD out now!

The new album “Decomposing Cacophonies” by post-industrial noise duo Mulo Muto is out now released on digipack CD by L’è Tütt Folklor Records and Luce Sia.

“Decomposing Cacophonies” was recorded in Zurich (CH) in July 2017 by Attila and Joel during a long session. The duo embarked on a metaphysical exploration of the cycle of life and more specifically, reflected on how organic matter decomposes. This experiment was transposed into sound and subdivided into different moments that accompany decay. It is violent, at times calm at other times agitated, it may be noisy as well as dreamy; definitely deadly and ready to get recycled into the apparently never-ending cycle of inorganic and organic restoration. We live to die in order to let other beings live. We die to live in order to let other beings die.

The album was mixed shortly after the recording and mastered in January 2018 by Attila Folklor between the plains and the mountains of Ticino.

The pictures were taken by Joel during the Autumn of 2017 around the Mittelland, while Huere Giulio carefully took care of the layout.

“Once again, with Mulo Muto we have explored a hidden world made of chilling and dark atmospheres. We always try our best to combine the subtle with the most chaotic and we are very happy about the ending result. “MeVdA explores new paths including some synth sounds that collide with noise streams, loop tapes, drone layers and concrete elements. “Scare To Care” is divided into two movements:

“I: Too Scared” starts with a heavy synth sound and evolves into a multilayered collage of noises and drones that slowly falls and transmutes into “II: Trying To Care”. Loop tapes produce a mix of dreamy but scary sounds that then mutate with strange rhythms created by concrete elements that give a sort of post industrial feeling.

Xtematic presents 4 tracks that span a quite different palette of tastes and techniques. The first track starts with some strange sort of “underwater sounds” interposed with discharges of harsh noise. The second track follows the same structure with unique sounds that recreate uneasiness. The third track has a “jazzy” feeling and is probably the real surprise of this side. Noise takes over after a couple of minutes and invests you without mercy. The forth and last track, entitled “Future Doom Manifestus”, starts slowly to then be hit by a huge thunderstorm.”

The split tape between MeVdA and Joel Gilardini is out now on L’è Tütt Folklor Records!

Side A features two tracks by MeVdA: the first one is a long chilling track with thunderous outbursts which will make your ears bleed; the second one is a multilayered piece of drones with many variations and manipulations.
Joel Gilardini on side B also delivers two tracks of experimental noise: he experiments with both static and very manipulated sounds ranging a high spectrum of emotional states.

Since I, Attila of MeVdA and Joel play together in Mulo Muto, we decided to also count this as an official Mulo Muto release.
