TUER 1-sided LP out soon and other news
TUER’s debut 1-sided LP is gonna be available in a couple of days!
Tuer come from the French speaking part of Switzerland and play ultra fast grindcore with dual vocal attack (male and female) and create a blasting carpet enriched by some crusty influences. The drummer has already appeared on LTFR with Convulsif.
I can only tell you to get ready for this blasting bomb because it’s gonna cause some hearing damage for sure!
INSOMNIA ISTERICA are recording for the next split 7″ with Grossel (France)!
We’ve started the recordings for our next split 7″ with Grossel. Drums are done. This week guitars and bass will follow and then vocals asap.

The Crucified – “The Pillars Of Humanity”
Da diverso tempo non propongo più recensioni/album da scaricare su questo blog e la ragione principale è che richiede troppo tempo e non so a quanta gente effettivamente interessi.
Questa volta però mi sono impegnato a proporre qualcosa di davvero particolare che merita un trattamento speciale. The Crucified è stata una delle band crossover thrash cristiane più influenti in assoluto nella storia della musica a cavallo fra gli anni ’80 e ’90 e il fatto che molti portino ancora il tatuaggio del loro logo e molti non-cristiani li conoscano è una garanzia non da poco.
Circa un anno fa è uscita una nuova versione in vinile del loro secondo album “The Pillars Of Humanity” uscito originalmente nel 1991. Ho avuto la fortuna di trovare la versione trasparente ad un prezzo abbordabile ad un festival in marzo. La qualità audio è incredibile! Infatti la band è riuscita a ritrovare i vecchi nastri e a far non solo rimasterizzare ma persino remixare il disco. Per chi conosce la versione originale la differenza apparirà abissale. I neofiti avranno invece modo di godersi un disco della madonna.
Dato che sono troppo bravo e buono, ho fatto un rip in ordine direttamente dalla mia copia personale. Avrei potuto condividere la versione digitale uscita nel 2009 sulla collezione 2CD + DVD per celebrare il 25° della band, ma così è più figo, no?! Tanto a voi non cambierà un granché… Per le recensioni serie usate google o, meglio ancora, ascoltatevi il disco e fate voi.
Credo che ci siano ancora delle copie in giro se siete interessati.
Per chi volesse approfondire il discorso thrash metal cristiano consiglio più che vivamente Believer (lasciate pure perdere quello più recente), Seventh Angel, Living Sacrifice (primi 3 dischi) e Torniquet (primi 2 dischi).
